- Associate Circuit Judge of Mercer County – I am currently serving my 3rd elected term, 10th year.
- Supervisory Judge of 3rd Circuit Treatment Court Program serving all 4 counties of 3rd Circuit – Grundy, Harrison, Mercer and Putnam.
“The goal of the treatment court team is to help these nonviolent offenders get their lives back and to be free from addiction. We help them reconnect and mend their relationships with their families and loved ones. By having a more strenuous and intensively supervised program like the proven treatment court program, we actually hold our participants more accountable than regular probation, and we provide participants with tools to change and to become productive and working members of our society. Incarceration always remains an option to those who don’t.” - Missouri Supreme Court Assignments – Appointed as Special Judge by the Supreme Court in 8 Missouri counties, including the Kansas City Courts.
- Circuit Level Cases – Specific circuit level cases are handled by the Associate Circuit Judges. I am presently handling those and have been for the past 10 years.
- Strong working relationship with the last two elected Circuit Judges- the Honorable Thomas Alley and the Honorable Jack Peace, the clerks, court staff and law enforcement in each county
- Appointed Interim Presiding Judge of the 3rd Circuit by Missouri Supreme Court – Shortly after Judge Alley’s passing in April of 2023.
- Knowledgeable of how the Circuit Judge’s Office functions.
- As a part of the 3rd Circuit, multiple recipient of the Daniel F. O’Toole Award for excellence in service by providing timely justice to the public.
- Missouri Supreme Court Recognition – For accepting and handling cases assigned by the State’s highest court.

-Engaged in private practice of law for 17 years handling a wide range of legal issues. Partner in the Trenton branch last 10 years before being elected to my current position as Judge. - Former legal counsel to several area Rural Cooperatives. GRM, Grundy Electric, North Central Electric, Tri-County Electric, NW Electric, Peoples Co-op and Chula Farmers Co-op.

JUDGE KROHN IS A FAMILY MAN…
- Married for 26 years to wife Kelly (Coon) Krohn of Spickard.
- We have three children, Logan is a graduate of NCMC and Northwest Missouri State University, and currently employed as a Systems Engineer with Roeslein Alternative Energy. Lauren is a recent graduate of NCMC, was a member of the Lady Pirates softball team, and will be attending Truman State. Landon recently graduated Valedictorian from Princeton High School, and he will be attending the University of Central Missouri and playing baseball for the UCM Mules.
- Judge Krohn enjoys hunting, fishing and sports with his family.
- Judge Krohn’s experience of living and working on the family farm and raising beef cattle for over 20 years has given him a good background and appreciation for our way of life in the Green Hills of Northern Missouri.
